THE INVISIBLE CAUSE THAT IS DESTROYING CORAL REEFS

OCEAN ACIDIFICATION IS DESTROYING CORAL REEFS. LETS ALL WORK TOGETHER TO STOP IT. HERE IS AN IMAGE OF AN ACIDIC OCEAN:

HERE IS MY INTRODUCTORY VIDEO ABOUT "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS OCEAN ACIDIFICATION":

  1. Great video! Acidification is very concerning because corals are a very important habitat for fish that provides a lot of our food. I understand CO2 is an acid gas and since the oceans are warming the oceans will actually hold less CO2 molecules than cooler oceans.

    1. Thanks, Declan! I appreciate it! Yes. I needed to simplify it for the general public, but yeah! It's pretty cool how nature sometimes seems to contradict science! There's a paradox that's about how the ocean can hold less when it's still forced to absorb so much that it causes acidification. I think because of lots of pollution in the air, it's stronger than the warming ocean's tendency to release air.
